Your new role As Personal Tax Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, entrepreneurs, trusts and partnerships. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients.
- Reviewing and preparing personal tax returns.
- Providing high-quality tax compliance and advisory services.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering bespoke advice.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team.
- Assisting Partners and Directors with complex advisory projects.
- Contributing to business development and networking activities where appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed:
- CTA qualified, ATT qualified or qualified by experience.
- Proven experience managing a personal tax portfolio within practice.
- Strong technical personal tax knowledge.
- Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills.
- Experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members.
- A proactive and commercial approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
