Your new company A high-growth global services business in Liverpool is recruiting an interim FP&A analyst to support the creation of a commercial finance function. Your new role Working within a small team, you'll support financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis across global operations. Working closely with finance and non-finance stakeholders across multiple countries, you'll provide business insight to support decision-making.
Duties will include : Support the preparation of the annual budget, long-range plan and regular financial forecasts across the global business. Produce accurate and insightful monthly management reporting, including analysis of actuals against budget, forecast and prior year. Perform detailed variance analysis, identifying key drivers of financial performance and highlighting risks and opportunities. Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, forecasting and decision-making.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes and data quality. Partner with regional and functional teams to understand business performance and challenge assumptions where appropriate. Prepare financial analysis and presentations for senior management. Consolidate and analyse financial information across multiple countries, currencies and business units.
What you'll need to succeed Strong financial analysis and modelling skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, SUMIFS and financial modelling techniques. Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and variance analysis. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. What you'll get in return Initial 6-month interim contract with potential for a longer-term arrangement.
