Your new company
I am currently working with a company who are looking for an IFRS17 Technical Accountant for a 12-month contract position. Based in Central London, this role will play a critical part within the company by providing support to the group's financial reporting team.
Your new role The key responsibilities include –
- Providing IFRS 17 technical advice and guidance
- Building and developing models performing accounting and modelling calculations
- Preparing transition accounts
- Designing, implementing and supporting new processes and controls
- Working closely with senior stakeholders, auditors, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Any other ad hoc tasks required and make sure the business is ready for IFRS 17
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified accountant with IFRS17 experience
- Experience with implementing IFRS17
- Collaboration with key stakeholders and auditors
- Experience building and developing Excel spreadsheets for data models
