Your new company

I am currently working with a company who are looking for an IFRS17 Technical Accountant for a 12-month contract position. Based in Central London, this role will play a critical part within the company by providing support to the group's financial reporting team.

Your new role The key responsibilities include –

  • Providing IFRS 17 technical advice and guidance
  • Building and developing models performing accounting and modelling calculations
  • Preparing transition accounts
  • Designing, implementing and supporting new processes and controls
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders, auditors, and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Any other ad hoc tasks required and make sure the business is ready for IFRS 17

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified accountant with IFRS17 experience
  • Experience with implementing IFRS17
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders and auditors
  • Experience building and developing Excel spreadsheets for data models
