As the firm continues to expand its advisory offering, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Manager to play a key role within their Technical Accounting team is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious ACA or ACCA-qualified professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building trusted client relationships and helping shape the future direction of a growing practice. You'll work with a varied client portfolio ranging from owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial SMEs through to larger corporate groups, providing high-value advice on a wide range of accounting and reporting matters.

Your new roleAs Senior Manager, you will lead on complex technical accounting assignments, acting as a trusted adviser to both clients and colleagues. You'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio, providing practical solutions and commercially focused advice while ensuring the highest standards of client service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and developing long-term client relationships across a varied portfolio
• Providing specialist advice on complex accounting and financial reporting matters
• Reviewing and supporting work relating to group and consolidated accounts
• Advising UK subsidiaries of overseas entities on statutory reporting requirements
• Providing expertise on FRS 102 and financial reporting standards
• Supporting clients with audit, corporation tax and VAT-related technical matters
• Identifying opportunities to broaden client relationships and add value across service lines
• Leading and mentoring accounting teams, helping develop future talent within the business
• Contributing to operational improvements, strategic planning and wider business growth initiatives

This is a highly visible role with significant client exposure and the opportunity to influence both technical delivery and the ongoing growth of the practice. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will be ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience) with a strong background within accountancy practice'll demonstrate:

• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP and FRS 102
• Experience managing client portfolios and delivering advisory-led services
• The ability to simplify and communicate complex technical issues to clients
• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Previous experience leading, mentoring or developing teams

Exposure to group structures, consolidations, corporate tax matters and business valuations would be advantageous, as would ATT or CTA qualifications.
