This is a newly created Financial Controller role, reporting directly to the FD to support the exciting growth plans of doubling the number of sites and expansion outside the UK! You must have experience within the Hospitality sector for this role.

As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the group's financial operations, ensuring robust reporting and compliance while driving efficiencies across the business. This is a hands-on role where you'll balance operational finance with commercial analysis to help shape the company's growth trajectory.

Key duties include:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital to maintain financial stability.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and performance management.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Implement and improve financial systems and processes for efficiency and scalability.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE
  • Proven experience within the hospitality sector
  • Commercial acumen with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
