Your new company
You will be joining a leading International group with more than 100 years of history. You will be joining a key division and supporting the delivery of statutory accounting.
Your new role
Reporting into the financial controller, you will be taking on a key position as financial accountant to help deliver monthly, quarterly, group and statutory accounts for the UK business. You will help to deliver statutory accounts, balance sheet (reconciliations) and cashflow, support corporate tax preparation as well as work closely with Group and the wider business in Europe on accounting transactions, audit delivery and testing at year end. The team work very cohesively, so there will be a chance to support the management accounts and treasury teams too.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful and in addition to your accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/equivalent), you should have strong statutory accounting experience, ideally from a large group or from practice. Experience with SAP would be an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
