Your new company is a PE-backed Manufacturing SME based in Oldham. After a number of recent acquisitions, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant.
In your new role as Financial Accountant, you will assist with processing, monitoring and analysis of financial data, preparing accurate statements for our expanding group of companies, currently 4 of which are trading entities. You will be involved in maintaining accounting records for the group, and you will ultimately be responsible for the day-to-day processes of one of the subsidiary companies based down South. This will include processing transactions and month-end journals, through to creating a monthly reporting package for the board of Directors.
You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified and have experience working within the manufacturing sector. You will have relevant experience including working as part of a financial reporting team, management accounting, budgeting, percentage of completion accounting, working with financial systems and working as part of a larger team to achieve common goals. You will need to be an effective communicator, established at building relationships across a business to enable collaborative working where applicable.
You will join a highly ambitious PE backed SME who are experiencing incredible growth. You will join a small but efficient finance function which is headed up by an impressive Finance Director who is passionate about her people. You will receive a salary of up to £55,000 plus benefits.
