Your new role
As the Finance Professional, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day financial operations across the organisation. You will maintain accurate financial records, oversee ledgers, and deliver timely and insightful financial reporting that supports planning and decision‑making at senior level. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing sales and purchase ledger activity
- Reconciling bank receipts and statements
- Overseeing credit control and resolving finance queries
- Preparing monthly management accounts, analysing variances, and reporting findings to senior leadership
- Producing meaningful financial analysis to support decision‑making
- Monitoring, maintaining, and forecasting cashflow
- Assisting with year‑end processes and external audits
- Supporting the preparation of annual budgets
- Producing ad‑hoc reports for management and the Board
- Improving financial procedures, processes, and controls
- Providing occasional administrative and reception support as needed

What you'll need to succeed
- AAT Level 4 (or working towards), or strong QBE experience
- At least 5 years' experience in a finance or bookkeeping role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes
- Strong systems skills, including Xero (or similar) and advanced Excel
- High attention to detail and strong accuracy levels
- Confident analytical capability, able to interpret and explain financial data
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage your own workload, prioritise effectively, and work independently
