Your new company is a well-established and privately owned business operating within the manufacturing and distribution sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Part-Time Payroll & Accounts Administrator to support the Managing Director with payroll, bookkeeping and general administrative finance duties. This is a flexible opportunity within a friendly and close-knit team environment, with the potential for the role to develop and increase in responsibility over time.
As Part-Time Payroll & Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for processing monthly payroll information, collating employee hours and submitting payroll data to an external payroll bureau. You will support payroll administration up to twice per week, maintain attendance records, manage holiday tracking and assist with bookkeeping duties using Sage approximately 20-25 hours per week across 4-5 hours per day, the role offers flexibility around working patterns while predominantly supporting the business during daytime hours. You will report directly to the Managing Director and play an important role in ensuring payroll and finance administration processes run efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous payroll administration experience
- Experience preparing payroll data for submission to an external payroll bureau
- Strong Sage experience is essential
- Bookkeeping and finance administration experience
- Experience maintaining attendance and holiday records
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage confidential information
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
