Your New Company
A well-known fashion retailer is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager, reporting directly into the Head of Commercial Finance, to join their Finance team. They are looking for someone who is fully qualified with a highly numerate and analytical background. This role will suit someone who is excited to work in a fast-paced environment within the retail industry.
Your New Role
As part of the Commercial Finance team, you will play a crucial role in delivering actionable insights to both finance and non-finance teams. Responsibilities of the role include:
- Owning Supplier Income reporting, forecasting and budgeting as well as month-end accounting.
- Provide analysis, insight and reporting to influence key company decisions.
- Collaborative work with colleagues from both finance and non-finance teams, up to exec level.
- Business partnering with other teams, such as merchandising, to understand and challenge stock movements.
- Manage the Sales & Margin P&L.
- Financial modelling.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Fully qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with commercial experience in industry.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communicator.
- Highly analytical and numerate mindset.
- Experience in the retail industry desirable, but not essential.
- The ability and desire to work in a driven, fast-paced environment.
