Job Description Credit Controller (Temp-to-Perm) Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: Immediate Start Available An established and growing business based in Macclesfield is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join its finance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional who can make an immediate impact by managing customer accounts, maximising cash collection, and reducing aged debt into the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of a busy ledger, working closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure outstanding balances are collected efficiently while maintaining strong professional relationships. Proactively chase outstanding debt via telephone, email, and written correspondence. Escalate complex or high-risk accounts where appropriate. Monitor aged debt and identify opportunities to improve cash collection performance. Carry out credit checks and due diligence on new customer accounts. Maintain strong customer relationships while managing financial risk. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the credit control function. Assist with reporting and account reconciliation as required. Previous experience within a Credit Control position. Proven track record of cash collection and reducing aged debt. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Available to start immediately or at short notice. Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career prospects. Competitive salary. Immediate start available.
