\n Birmingham City Centre | Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home) | £38,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits \n A well-established and growing property organisation is seeking a Property Accountant to join its finance team in Birmingham city centre.

Whilst previous client accounting experience would be advantageous, the company is willing to train and develop the right individual who possesses strong accounting fundamentals, property sector exposure and experience using Yardi.

  • Manage financial reporting requirements across a portfolio of properties and clients \n
  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports in line with agreed deadlines \n
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders \n
  • Respond to account queries and provide financial analysis where required \n
  • Ensure financial data is maintained accurately and updated promptly \n
  • Process and review accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls \n
  • Monitor client funding positions and support effective cash management across portfolios \n
  • Oversee rent, service charge, rates, and other property-related payments \n
  • Review property expenditure, working closely with surveyors, facilities managers, and suppliers to resolve queries \n
  • Perform cash and bank reconciliations across multiple property accounts \n
  • Attend client meetings and support the delivery of a high-quality finance service \n \n

  • Experience working within a property, real estate, or property management environment \n
  • Strong accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience \n
  • Previous experience using Yardi is highly desirable \n
  • Experience within client accounting or service charge accounting would be beneficial but is not essential \n
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills \n
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail \n
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment \n \n
