This is your chance to shape financial strategy, ensure value for money, and deliver open book accounting in a contract subject to scrutiny by Internal Audit, NIAO, and the Public Accounts Committee. Your analysis and advice will influence senior management decisions and external stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
- Manage accounting, costing, forecasting, and risk reporting systems
- Develop and monitor contract financial processes
- Produce financial reports for senior boards
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with Managing Public Money NI
- Lead on business cases and post-project evaluations
What We're Looking For:
- Full membership of a recognised professional accountancy body (e.g., ICAI, ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
- Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience
- Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, management accounting, and cost analysis
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable: Previous experience in NICS or public sector accountancy.
