Banking / Finance Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join a highly respected and growing specialty insurance business operating within the Lloyd's market. This is a key leadership role, offering broad exposure across financial control, technical reporting, regulatory compliance and stakeholder management within a fast-paced underwriting environment. Lead all aspects of financial control for the syndicates and associated entities. Ensure timely and accurate statutory, regulatory and Lloyd's reporting. Manage the annual audit process and act as the primary contact for external auditors. Support Solvency II reporting requirements and wider regulatory submissions. Review and enhance financial controls, policies and procedures. Deliver insightful financial analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders. Partner with underwriting, actuarial and operations teams across the business. Drive process improvement and automation initiatives within finance. Lead, develop and mentor finance team members. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent). Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise. Knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements. Experience managing audits and working with senior stakeholders. Genuine opportunity to influence finance strategy and process improvement.
