This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Audit Senior to join a highly respected accountancy and business advisory practice. Working with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and accounting services while developing your client management and leadership skills.
As an Audit Senior, you'll take increasing responsibility for managing audit assignments and building strong client relationships, while being supported by experienced managers and partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and completing audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical testing, both on-site and remotely.
- Planning, executing and finalising audit assignments to a high standard.
- Preparing statutory financial statements from client records.
- Identifying key risk areas and communicating findings to managers and partners.
- Ensuring audit files are completed with appropriate and sufficient documentation.
- Supporting the development of junior team members through coaching and mentoring.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Contributing to the delivery of team revenue and profitability targets.
What you'll need to succeed:
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Experience managing audits for a varied client portfolio.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgement.
- Experience supervising, coaching or mentoring junior team members.
