Accounts Assistant
Location: Liverpool

Overview
We are currently recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a small, collaborative finance team within a growing organisation based in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience across operational finance, with exposure to multiple projects that contribute directly to the company's ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily bank reconciliations, ensuring system balances are accurate.Oversee daily payment processes, ensuring timely execution in line with SLAs.
- Contribute to monthly reporting packs, including KPI reporting.
- Manage the debt process to maximise cash collection.
- Support the day-to-day running of the operational finance function, producing meaningful financial information to aid decision-making.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with banking partners.
- Ensure a strong financial control environment is upheld.
- Monitor and manage aged debt, reporting to senior finance stakeholders.
- Support interest-sharing processes and reporting requirements.
- Review and improve accounting processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist with finance-related projects, ensuring financial requirements are met and costs are controlled.
