About the role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Head of Marketing. This is a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Marketeer to work with key stakeholders and help with future vision and expansion of the business. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating a growing marketing team, launching and running digital marketing campaigns, and driving B2C online sales. This role is remote.

  • Responsible for all aspects of marketing including brand management, full-funnel and media strategies, web site experience, partnering with our third-party agencies, online teams, CRM, promotions, traffic driving strategies, and other marketing-related activities.
  • Ensure teams execute plans in a timely manner. You will also be overseeing the marketing team.
  • Rolling out campaigns, brand, and seasonal strategies online.
  • Drive new ideas and strategies to retain, grow and/or acquire new customers.
  • Leading media partnerships and relationships, including media planning, asset delivery, creative development of advertising materials and post-campaign effectiveness.
  • Developing and executing strategy for online, traffic driving, brand engagement and customer events.
  • Coordinate with digital marketing to create and maintain existing and future B2C sales funnels.
  • Driving current and new promotional initiatives, including traffic driving and brand building ideas.
  • Ensuring all CRM, loyalty, social media, digital, and event strategies are integrated with the overall marketing strategy.
  • You will need to coordinate the overall content calendar, including specific social media account calendars.
  • This role will oversee all PR activities and influencer relationships.
  • Responsible for the voice of the brand in a digital space, in alignment with the marketing direction and local product strategy.
  • Participate and contribute in cross-functional strategy meetings.
  • Represent and drive marketing objectives and strategies within the wider business strategies.

Who you are

  • Must be highly commercially and able to work within a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Proven success in brand management with strong leadership skills.
  • Have a good understanding and experience of cross-marketing.
  • Excellent knowledge of social and digital activities.
  • Proven experience and ability to work with creative organisations.
  • Ability to apply strategic thinking to all marketing mediums.
  • Up to date with relevant market trends and consumer behaviour.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • MBA not required, but is a bonus.
  • Proven track record in managing budgets to target.
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills developed in a matrix environment.
  • Proven track record of managing a team with strong people management skills.
  • Highly flexible and adapts well to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to manage and direct multiple projects.
  • Another language is not required, but appreciated.
  • 8-10 years in marketing, agency experience not required, but is a plus.
  • Industries of experience that can be considered a plus are: health, beauty, wellness, wellbeing, retail and luxury goods.
