We are looking for a reliable, professional Service Operations Driver to support our busy Service Department. This role involves collecting and delivering customer vehicles, providing a warm and courteous handover experience, and helping to keep the site running smoothly. You will represent the business both on the road and on-site, so a friendly, confident and professional manner is essential.
Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver customer vehicles safely, efficiently, and professionally.
- Provide a warm, courteous handover at both pick-up and drop-off.
- Complete all required documentation accurately.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding timings, expectations, and any delays.
Service Reception Support
- Assist the Service Reception team with on-site vehicle movements.
- Park, position, and organise vehicles to support workshop flow.
- Help manage customer arrivals and departures when required.
- Support basic administrative tasks such as key handling and logging.
Vehicle Care & Compliance
- Carry out basic vehicle checks including fuel level, cleanliness, and mileage.
- Report any damage, concerns, or irregularities immediately.
- Handle all vehicles in line with company safety standards and procedures.
Customer Experience
- Represent the business with professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- Provide helpful, friendly communication to enhance the customer journey.
- Maintain a tidy, organised appearance and uphold company values.
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Valid driving licence with a good driving record.
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Polite, professional, and confident when dealing with customers.
