We’re looking for a graduate to join our Tech Hub as a Precision Farming Specialist, working alongside our existing specialist to support customers with the technology that powers modern arable and livestock operations. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role where no two days look the same. One morning you might be commissioning a guidance system on a new tractor, the afternoon troubleshooting an RTK signal issue at a customer’s yard, and the next day walking a grower through the FieldOps portal. You’ll be trained from the ground up on the systems we support, and over time you’ll become a trusted point of contact for our customers on everything precision farming.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installing and commissioning Raven, Fleet Pro and New Holland / Case IH guidance and steering systems on tractors, sprayers, and other machinery
  • Carrying out fault‑finding, servicing, and software updates on installed systems
  • Helping maintain and monitor our RTK correction network, including base stations and subscriber accounts
  • Supporting customers with the New Holland and Case IH FieldOps portal, including account setup, data transfer, machine connectivity, and troubleshooting
  • Providing phone, remote, and on‑farm support on precision farming aspects such as yield mapping, variable rate application, section control, and ISOBUS implements
  • Visiting farms to deliver one‑to‑one operator training on precision farming systems
  • Helping run in‑house training days on working farms with dedicated machinery
  • Keeping accurate service records and feeding back recurring issues to manufacturers
  • Staying current with new product releases, firmware updates, and industry developments

Skills & Experience Required

  • A recent graduate in any discipline — agriculture, engineering, IT, electronics, or a related field
  • Genuine interest in agricultural technology and willingness to work hands‑on with machinery
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting
  • Confident communicator, comfortable explaining technical concepts to non‑technical customers
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Happy to work outdoors in all weather, sometimes at short notice during busy seasons

Non‑Essential Desirable Skills

  • Practical experience with farm machinery, workshops, or agricultural contracting
  • Familiarity with GPS / GNSS systems, CAN bus, or ISOBUS
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP addresses, mobile data, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting)
  • Exposure to Raven, Trimble, or New Holland / Case IH precision products

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience in parts, retail counter, automotive, or agricultural support roles (preferred)
