Farm Hands to join a busy livestock operation. If you enjoy working outdoors, are comfortable around animals and are looking for ongoing casual work, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a hands-on role working with small livestock , where no two days are the same. You will be part of a supportive team responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and well-managed environment for the animals.
About the Role
Your duties will include
- Assisting with the daily care and handling of small livestock.
- Feeding animals in accordance with established feeding routines.
- Cleaning and hosing out animal enclosures and work areas.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic facility.
- General farm maintenance and housekeeping.
- Assisting with other farm duties as required.
- Following animal welfare, biosecurity and workplace safety procedures at all times.
About You
To be successful, you will
- Be comfortable working around live animals.
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Be physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently and within a team.
- Be willing to work in an outdoor farm environment in varying weather conditions.
- Have good communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience working on a farm or with livestock.
- Experience operating basic farm equipment.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
