At Haymarket, we are passionate about investing in our people and supporting their development. We're looking for someone with the potential to grow and thrive in this role, with an anticipated starting salary of £40,000. We're committed to providing opportunities to develop your skills, build your experience and progress within the business.

ABOUT THE JOB

Working within Content Labs, Haymarket's in-house content marketing agency, delivering integrated marketing campaigns and bespoke commercial content across Haymarket's portfolio of leading B2B brands. Working closely with Commercial, Editorial, Project Management and Marketing Operations teams, the division creates a wide range of content, including events, webinars, reports, articles and multimedia campaigns, helping clients engage their target audiences and achieve measurable business outcomes.

THE ROLE

Lead the planning, delivery and optimisation of integrated marketing campaigns from end to end across a diverse portfolio of commercial content projects. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will deliver campaigns that achieve client objectives, meet agreed KPIs and contribute to the continued commercial success of Content Labs. As a Marketing Manager, you will act as a key internal partner to Commercial, evaluating campaign deliverability and risk, assessing yields, and providing the marketing expertise and assets needed to power sales pitches and win business. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will build strong relationships across Content Labs and the wider business, taking ownership of campaign effectiveness, database utilisation and performance reporting to drive continuous improvement and portfolio growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Campaign Planning & Delivery: Plan, manage, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to support commercial content solutions – from driving event attendance and webinar registrations to generating qualified leads and maximising content reach. Write, edit, and proof creative, high-converting marketing copy across email, social, display, and native advertising across Haymarket’s digital titles and bulletins. Oversee end-to-end email campaign management and work with internal teams to build and maintain user-friendly landing pages and campaign websites. Make best use of multi-sector customer marketing databases and collaborate with external demand generation agencies where required to ensure full delivery.
  • Commercial & Campaign Strategy: Collaborate closely with sales and commercial teams to assess KPI deliverability, advise on yields, and shape creative campaign solutions that meet client briefs and drive revenue growth. Attend regular project meetings and calls with key internal stakeholders to provide expertise, track project progress, and align on strategic priorities. Contribute strategic and innovative ideas to refine marketing processes, streamline campaign delivery, and expand the Content Labs offering.
  • People & Team Support: Support the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new and junior team members, sharing marketing expertise and best practice across the department. Act as a mentor and approachable role model, supporting junior colleagues with day-to-day queries, campaign guidance, and skill-building. Where applicable, provide direct line management to junior team members, including setting clear objectives, managing workload allocation, and conducting regular performance reviews and 1:1s. Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive team environment that aligns with Haymarket’s culture and values.
  • Analysis, Insights & Reporting: Conduct in-depth email and channel performance analysis to optimise campaign effectiveness and inform future commercial strategy. Create detailed, insightful post-campaign reports for clients, demonstrating ROI and delivering key commercial insights. Share campaign data and market insights with internal commercial teams to support new business proposals and pitches.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

The Marketing Manager works closely with the Head of Marketing, Marketing Executives, Project Managers, Commercial, Content, Marketing Operations, Editorial and Production to ensure the successful delivery of client campaigns and business objectives. The role will also build effective working relationships with key stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard and achieve agreed objectives.
