The company is looking for a Communications Manager for a 12 month (maternity cover) FTC, and can be flexible in terms of days contracted, between 3-5.
A significant responsibility will be to develop internal communications across a number of channels, seeking out stories to build stronger stakeholder relations and deepen employee and customer connections, as well as helping proactively deliver media relations, an active events programme, social and digital output and generally engaging with all aspects of the communications plan.
You’ll need exceptional writing skills and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with strategic nous to pick up and run with a range of communication challenges. The role reports into a brilliant and empowering head of corporate and public affairs, who believes the sky's the limit in terms of promoting the business externally and internally, and is looking for a smart individual, probably with an agency background, to work with her and the CEO to broaden the communications potential of the company.
The charm of the role is that sector knowledge is not a prerequisite, nor do you have to have previous internal comms experience.
