Twickenham Hybrid working – 3 days in the office. Salary – £35,000 – £38,000 depending on experience. Classic & Sports Car is Britain’s best selling classic car magazine and the undisputed authority on everything related to the classic car market. As Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for driving advertising revenues from key clients and new business targets across print and digital. You will actively sell commercial opportunities from a designated patch which may include UK and international display and dealer clients through regular calls, meetings and events. Where relevant, also selling other brand extensions and cross‑selling across the wider Haymarket Automotive portfolio including Autocar and Whatcar brands. As a senior figure within the team you will help lead client relationships, projects, strategy and work closely with the Sales Manager to deliver against agreed individual and team targets.

Responsibilities

  • Maximising revenues through strategic account management and new business development initiatives to advertisers in the classic car market.
  • Create and develop branded decks, materials and proposals.
  • Build, manage and develop an active pipeline.
  • Develop strong working relationships, conduct client meetings and attend relevant industry events (UK and Overseas).
  • Deliver on sales targets and agreed KPIs on sales output including calls, meetings and proposals.
  • Full adoption of Salesforce and other reporting metrics.

Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria

  • Previous media sales experience.
  • A proven and demonstrable track record in sales.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication.
  • Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to spot new opportunities and confidently engage with clients.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to successfully negotiate at a senior level.
  • Full UK driver’s license.
