Overview
The Business Systems analyst role exists to support, maintain and improve Haymarket’s creative and events business systems. The role also extends to implement, test and support any new business systems as they are developed and implemented. As a member of the Creative and Events systems team, you will provide and manage second-line support, ensuring that agreed-upon service levels are consistently met. The jobholder will also be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues in Technology and across the business to assist in delivering technology services that drive a competitive advantage for Haymarket.
Responsibilities
- Support, maintenance and general administration of all creative and events business systems to meet business requirements.
- Work implementing new Events systems as part of a project team.
- Creating, reviewing and updating business systems processes, UAT scripts, policies, application configuration and support materials for system users, as business systems are developed.
- Ensuring that service levels are met on all incidents and are prioritised efficiently.
- Where necessary to ensure incidents and problems are escalated in a timely and approved manner to ensure SLA’s are not breached.
- To provide a high level of service to the business in a deadline driven environment and gain an understanding of business priorities.
Specific Challenges
- Supporting a busy creative and events systems team during an exciting systems transformation with the introduction of new systems to Haymarket’s events businesses.
- Carrying out events systems builds including but not limited to; new event set ups, new functionality and integrations.
- Managing system user joining, moving and leaving, including archiving accounts and data.
- Supporting the Business Systems Project Manager with implementing, testing, signing off and releasing upgrades to existing systems and/or new systems.
Experience and qualifications
- Diploma or apprentice-level education.
- Excellent knowledge of Business Systems, or transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of events operations systems, or transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent knowledge of content creation, Adobe Creative Cloud, and systems such as font management.
- Demonstrable use of the Mac Operating System.
