Inspired by vintage textiles, music, travel and craftsmanship, the brand blends elevated design with a rock-and-roll edge across knitwear, denim, jersey and ready-to-wear.

The Role

This is a key creative role within the business, leading all print and surface design across the brand. The successful candidate will take ownership of seasonal print direction and surface development, creating original and commercially exciting designs across knitwear, jersey and wovens. A strong focus of the role will be developing jacquard knit designs, which sit at the heart of the brand, while working closely with factories and product development from concept through to final approval.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all print and surface design across the brand
  • Work directly with the Founder on seasonal creative direction
  • Create seasonal mood boards, print concepts and colour palettes ahead of each collection
  • Develop original print, embroidery and surface design ideas across all categories
  • Design and develop artwork for knitwear, jersey and woven product categories
  • Create production-ready print files and artwork
  • Launch and manage strike-offs, knit developments and sampling with factories
  • Manage lab dips and colour approvals across all categories
  • Work closely with suppliers and factories to ensure accurate execution of artwork and knit designs
  • Collaborate with Product Development throughout the sampling and development process
  • Research current trends, vintage references, colour and emerging print direction
  • Maintain strong organisation across multiple developments and deadlines

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in print and/or surface design within fashion
  • Commercial print design aesthetic
  • Womenswear design is a real bonus
  • Strong experience designing for knitwear, particularly jacquard knitwear
  • Experience across jersey and woven categories
  • Excellent colour eye and strong understanding of colour development
  • High taste level with strong awareness of contemporary fashion and trends
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience preparing artwork and files for production
  • Confident communicating directly with factories and suppliers
  • Organised, proactive and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced creative environment
