Hours: 40 hours per week, 08:30 - 17:30, 1hr lunch

We're excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Stores Assistant to support the busy team at our Fluid Power unit in Halesowen.

About the Stores Assistant role:

  • As our Stores Assistant, you will mainly be assisting with operations in our warehouse, picking, packing and dispatching goods.
  • You will also be required to assist with processing of stock, including receipting goods, shelving items in the correct locations, stock checks and general warehouse housekeeping.
  • A key member of the team, you will be required to liaise with other colleagues and departments across the branch network.

Experience with either a counterbalance or bendi forklift truck is essential for this role, either with a licence or in-house training. The environment and culture are one where everyone mucks in and works across a variety of tasks. There's no task this team doesn't do and so if you are someone that is looking for a role that is varied and you like getting stuck in then this could be the perfect fit!

What we’re looking for in our Stores Assistant:

  • Experience with a counterbalance or bendi forklift truck (essential)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of working in a similar warehouse environment would be greatly beneficial
