We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Assistant to join our well-established and experienced team based at our Newtown branch.
About the Internal Sales Assistant role:
As our Internal Sales Assistant, you'll be at the heart of the branch, helping to keep everything running smoothly day to day. You'll support the sales office by processing customer orders, managing and updating our order book, handling incoming phone enquiries, and providing excellent service to customers both over the phone and at our Trade Counter.
Working closely with the wider team, you'll build strong relationships with customers, help resolve queries, and ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Attention to detail, a proactive approach, and great communication skills will all be key to success in this role.
While the role is primarily office-based, there will be occasional opportunities to get involved with warehouse activities when extra support is needed. From time to time, you may also be asked to assist with collecting or delivering goods, so we're looking for someone with a flexible, hands-on attitude who's happy to pitch in wherever required.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, likes working with people, and thrives in a busy environment. No two days are ever quite the same, and you'll play an important part in supporting both our customers and the wider team.
What we’re looking for in our Internal Sales Assistant:
- Full, UK driving license is essential
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
- Effective communicator, with a polite and professional telephone manner
- Sales experience is desirable
- Good manual handling ability
- Experience of working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
