Hayley Dexis has an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive to join our well-established and experienced team based at our branch in Seaham. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary and have access to a range of benefits. About the role
You’ll be undertaking tasks such as responding to incoming enquiries, responding to customer queries and processing orders. Expect to be on the phone as well as being the face of our trade counter, providing expert knowledge and assistance to any walk‑in customers. You’ll proactively follow up on outstanding customer enquiries, prepare accurate quotations, and look for opportunities to upsell and add value. We’re looking for someone confident and proactive, who isn’t afraid to get stuck into a range of tasks. You’ll have prior experience in internal sales as well as ideally a background in engineering or manufacturing, but we are open to cross‑over sectors.
Working hours
40 hours per week, Monday–Friday. 08:30–17:30 with 1 hr lunch.
What we’re looking for
- Knowledge of MRO/Engineering products is ideal, but full training will be provided
- Prior internal sales experience or experience within a customer service / administrative environment
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Self‑motivated, with strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
