Due to exciting new expansion, Hayley Dexis is looking for a Front Desk Executive / Corporate Receptionist based at our brand new, state of the art HQ in Halesowen. Hayley Dexis is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables in the UK. About the Front Desk Executive / Corporate Reception role:

This is a brilliant opportunity to join Hayley at a time of significant growth. You’ll be working from our new purpose-built, state of the art HQ in Halesowen with some flexibility to cover other sites as required, ensuring continuity of service and maintaining consistent standards of client care. You’ll be the face of Hayley creating an exceptional first impression and professional front of house ‘service with a smile’ experience. You’ll greet and settle all visiting staff, customers and guests creating a warm and welcoming environment that people have come to expect from Hayley.

As well as being immaculately well presented and having a professional demeanour, we are looking for successful candidates to be extremely confident communicators with the ability to work autonomously. You’ll be adept at problem solving, remaining calm under pressure, proactively supporting the needs of our staff, clients and business partners. Your ability to resolve queries and issues will be the cornerstone to your success in this role.

Daily tasks will include:

  • Managing site stationery and kitchen supplies
  • Logging visitors in and out
  • Serving beverages
  • Meeting room set up / clear down
  • Dealing with any maintenance problems
  • Arranging transport and accommodation for the group
  • Ordering from external caterers as appropriate

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about providing an exceptional and memorable experience for all visitors at HQ.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent IT skills – experience of using MS Office suite of products i.e. Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience of calendar management, scheduling, room booking arrangements and diary management
  • Experience using telephone systems
  • Ability to multitask and effectively prioritise
  • Smart and professional appearance
  • Confident in dealing with our staff, customers and guests up to Board level
  • Fast learner with the ability to work on an autonomous basis
  • Experience in similar lead front of house position from sectors including hospitality, retail or high-end service environments
  • Someone who takes pride in maintaining a tidy and clean working environment
  • Experience of maintaining the highest H&S standards and evacuation procedures in collaboration with SHEQ Department

Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm. This is based on-site Monday to Friday.
