We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an Accounts Senior within our Accounts team to make a real impact.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of key areas within the accounts function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare monthly management accounts, providing clear insight to support business decision-making
- Work closely with budget holders and operational teams to understand performance and provide financial guidance
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to track performance against plans
- Review and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies
- Assist with statutory accounts preparation and support external audits
- Improve and streamline processes to make the finance function more efficient and value-adding
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and relevant financial regulations
- Get involved in projects across the business, offering financial insight and supporting wider commercial goals
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA qualification
- Proven experience within an accountancy practice or similar environment
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and compliance
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Highly organised, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
