We’re excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for a Customer Service Apprentice working within a busy and supportive branch environment.
About the role:
As a Customer Service Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience across key areas of the branch, building the skills needed to deliver excellent service to our customers. You will rotate through:
- Trade Counter – supporting and serving customers face-to-face
- Internal Sales / Office – handling calls, emails, and customer enquiries
- Warehouse Operations – understanding stock, order fulfilment, and logistics
This well-rounded approach ensures you develop a strong understanding of both our products and how we support customers from enquiry through to delivery.
You’ll learn how to:
- Communicate confidently with customers and colleagues
- Handle enquiries, orders and problem-solving effectively
- Use internal systems and processes
- Deliver a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced environment
Following successful completion, there may be the opportunity to progress into a Customer Service or Internal Sales role.
About the Apprenticeship:
Apprenticeship in Customer Service (SCQF L5 or 6 depending on experience)
Duration: typically, 12 months
Study and coursework completed during working hours
Regular support from a training provider and your manager
What we’re looking for in our Apprentice:
- A genuine interest in customer service and building a career
- Enthusiastic, motivated and willing to learn
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Basic IT skills (including Microsoft Office)
- Strong attention to detail and logical thinking
- Well-presented and professional approach
- Able to travel to and work locally
No prior experience is required—just the right attitude and commitment to learning.
