HAYLEY DEXIS is the largest independent distributor of MRO engineering products and consumables in the UK. We’re seeking a proactive and enthusiastic eCommerce Executive to join the growing, fast paced eCommerce Division at our Head Office in Halesowen.

About the role

This is a varied position which oversees the functionality, user experience, and performance of the company’s e-commerce platform, ensuring the websites are optimised for B2B and B2C sales.

In a typical day you could be setting up online customer catalogues, leading on your own projects or putting your developer skills to good use.

You’ll be supporting our 50+ branches around the UK and their new customer set up’s, offering web-based solutions and leading on customer demos when needed.

You’ll collaborate with developers to ensure the platform is secure, fast, and user-friendly

We’ll help you to develop knowledge and understanding of all internal systems and processes, with an emphasis on our eCommerce platform and MDM system.

What we’re looking for;

  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills and can work to deadlines and targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (especially for email and chat support)
  • Confident with all Microsoft Office packages particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • An understanding of e-commerce platforms, for example Netalogue, Magento, Shopware, or similar
  • Knowledge of MRO/Engineering products is desirable, however not essential.
  • Some knowledge of SQL/HTML/CSS/JS or other web development skills
  • Knowledge of procurement systems like SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, Oracle or similar, however not essential.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, and digital marketing strategies including social media and email marketing, but not essential
