About the role:

We have a rare opportunity available to join our very successful West Thurrock Branch Team during an exciting and busy period of growth here at Hayley. You’ll have strong commercial acumen and excellent leadership skills with a track record of developing a robust sales strategy. We’re looking for excellent product knowledge as well as evidence of achieving sustained sales, profit and margin improvement. Our culture is very important to our long‑term success, we look for candidates who aren’t afraid to get stuck in, who are driven and who are passionate about building excellent customer relationships. The successful candidate will have hands on experience within the MRO sector and will ideally have experience already at assistant manager level or sales management level position.

What we’re looking for in our Assistant Branch Manager:

  • Ability to build and develop sales strategy and provide support to the team

  • Ability to step up and support the Branch Manager with P&L (revenue, margin and costs)

  • Experience of stock management, order fulfilment and H&S
