HAYLEY DEXIS are looking for a Branch Assistant to join our well-established and experienced team based at our Aberystwyth branch. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.
HAYLEY DEXIS is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables (hydraulics, bearings, fasteners, fluid power, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK. About the role:
As our Branch Assistant, you will play an integral role in assisting our Aberystwyth branch. From providing excellent customer service and building rapport with customers on our Trade Counter, to ensuring that orders are completed and sent out in good time, you will gain a full experience of how our branches operate.

Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities as our Branch Assistant will include:
- Processing orders and assisting order book management.
- Preparing orders and deliveries for customers.
- Assisting with goods in β receipt of goods, loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Supporting sales office with phone sales enquiries
- Supporting the Trade Counter.
- Assisting with inventory control, completing checks on stock levels.
- Collecting and delivering goods on an ad-hoc basis.
Skills & Attributes we\βre looking for in our Branch Assistant:
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Effective communicator, with a polite and professional telephone manner.
- Sales experience desirable with an engineering background.
- Good manual handling ability.
- Driving licence required β FLT licence is also desirable, however not essential.
