Hayley Dexis has an exciting vacancy for an Internal Sales person to join our established team based in Norwich. The role is full‑time, permanent with a competitive salary.
Hayley Dexis is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables (hydraulics, bearings, fasteners, fluid power, PPE, tools, lubricants etc.) in the UK. We provide cutting‑edge solutions to our clients across various industries.
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 or 08:30 – 17:30. Saturday rota 1 per month (08:30 – 12:00).
About the Internal Sales Role
- Respond to incoming enquiries and customer queries.
- Process orders and handle trade counter transactions.
- Make phone calls and represent the sales team to walk‑in customers.
- Follow up on outstanding customer enquiries.
- Prepare accurate quotations and identify upsell opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of MRO/Engineering products (ideal, training provided).
- Prior internal sales experience or a background in customer service or administrative environment.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Self‑motivated with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
