Hayley Dexis has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive to join our well‑established and experienced team based at our branch in Burton Upon Trent. You will join us on a full‑time, permanent basis and, in return, you will receive a competitive salary and a range of benefits. Hayley Dexis is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables (hydraulics, bearings, fasteners, fluid power, PPE, tools, lubricants, etc.) in the UK. About the role
- You’ll be undertaking tasks such as responding to incoming enquiries, responding to customer queries and processing orders.
- You will be on the phone and be the face of our trade counter, providing expert knowledge and assistance to walk‑in customers.
- You’ll proactively follow up on outstanding enquiries, prepare accurate quotations, and look for opportunities to upsell and add value.
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. 08:30 – 17:30 with a 1‑hour lunch.
What we're looking for:
- Knowledge of MRO/Engineering products is ideal, but full training will be provided.
- Prior internal sales experience or experience within a customer service or administrative environment.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, with strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
