Hayfin is seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications to both shape and execute our global strategy. This senior role will enhance brand positioning, deliver commercial impact, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels and regions.
Reporting into the Partner Solutions team and working closely with senior leadership, the position oversees brand, digital, content, and both external and internal communications to support the firm's growth and client engagement goals.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership
- Develop a clear and differentiated value proposition that supports fundraising, client engagement, and brand reputation.
- Advise Executive Committee and senior leadership on marketing, communications, and executive visibility.
- Guide a global marketing function ensuring strategic alignment while remaining actively involved in delivery and execution.
- Brand and Market Positioning
- Lead the development and delivery of multi-channel campaigns that reinforce Hayfin's positioning and commercial priorities.
- Oversee all brand, digital, and media activities, ensuring consistency of tone, design, and message globally.
- Manage external agency relationships to deliver measurable outcomes and strong ROI.
- Content and Thought Leadership
- Develop and execute a thought leadership program that highlights Hayfin's expertise and perspective across private markets.
- Lead the creation and distribution of high-quality, insight-led content that engages institutional audiences and reinforces the brand narrative.
- Oversee content strategy, production, and design, ensuring complex ideas are communicated clearly and effectively through digital channels.

- Key Qualifications and Experience
- Significant marketing and communications leadership experience, ideally within Private Credit/Equity, financial services or alternative asset management.
- Proven ability to design and deliver global marketing strategies that drive measurable commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing thought leadership and client communication that strengthen brand visibility and engagement.
- Proven success in planning and delivering large-scale events to support business development and relationship management.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for senior audiences.
- Track record mentoring high-performing teams and managing external agencies across multiple geographies.
- Experienced in digital marketing to boost engagement and visibility.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and executive communication, with credibility at C-suite level.
