We are seeking to appoint an organised, proactive and highly motivated Access Arrangements Coordinator to join our dedicated SEND Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about ensuring that students receive the support and examination access arrangements they require to demonstrate their knowledge and abilities fairly.
Working closely with the SENDCo, Examinations Officer, teaching staff, parents and external professionals, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and administering access arrangements in accordance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations, ensuring compliance, accuracy and excellent outcomes for students. This role would suit an experienced administrator, examinations professional or SEND practitioner who has excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to supporting students with additional needs.
Role Specification:- Coordinate and administer Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments in accordance with JCQ regulations and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and compliant student records, evidence files and access arrangements databases.
- Liaise with the SENDCo, Examinations Officer, teaching staff, students, parents/carers and external professionals regarding access arrangements.
- Coordinate the collection, organisation and submission of evidence required to support access arrangements applications.
- Monitor and maintain records of students' normal way of working to ensure compliance with JCQ requirements.
- Support students, staff and parents/carers by providing guidance and information regarding examination access arrangements.
- Organise and coordinate assessments, meetings and reviews relating to access arrangements.
- Ensure all examination access arrangements are effectively communicated and implemented during internal and external examinations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of JCQ regulations, SEND legislation and examination requirements.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of access arrangements processes, systems and procedures across the school.
