Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the School Reception, answer calls, handle parent communications via Teachers2Parents, and warmly welcome visitors.
  • Take ownership of daily attendance registers, manage 'first‑day calling' by 10:00am, track staff absence in line with school policies, and update payroll.
  • Maintain and update pupil records on SIMS, manage medical paperwork, draft school correspondence, and handle daily incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for school safety by checking visitor IDs/DBS status, and utilising the Inventry sign‑in system.
  • Work collaboratively with the Headteacher and SLT to support the school’s vision, values, and long‑term development.
