About Haybrook College

Haybrook College educates young people aged 11 to 19 who have challenging and complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) or medical needs to ensure they have the best possible educational and personal outcomes. The provisions are on multiple sites across Slough.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Minibus Driver to transport students from home to school in the mornings and back again in the afternoons and also to venues for offsite activities during the school day. Daily hours are 7am – 3pm and you will be based at the Haybrook College main site, 112 Burnham Lane, Slough SL1 6LZ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport students from home to school and return them, including offsite activities during the school day.
  • Ensure College's vehicles are kept clean, tidy and fuelled.
  • Notify the College of any vehicle issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the minibus fleet and organise maintenance such as servicing and ordering spare parts.

Qualifications

MIDAS Training for minibus driving can be provided. Responsible, pro‑active person with good people and communication skills who enjoys interacting with young people.
