Act as the legal representative for PAX, partnering with UK law firms and internal teams to conduct anti-counterfeiting operations. You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal contracts with UK counterparties for various business scenarios, and ensuring full legal compliance for the company’s UK operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the company’s legal representative, collaborate with external UK law firms and internal teams to carry out anti-counterfeiting enforcement and manage the whole process of counterfeit product raids.
- Draft, revise and examine legal documents and commercial contracts between the company and UK organisations in accordance with diverse business requirements.
- Monitor the progress of legal cases and contract performance, and resolve legal issues arising from cooperation and rights protection work.
- Identify potential compliance risks and deliver professional legal advice to support the company’s lawful operation in the UK market.
- Maintain regular communication with external law firms and business partners, and sustain long-term legal cooperation relationships.
Requirements
- Possess excellent command of authentic English.
- You have lived and built your career in the UK long-term, with in-depth knowledge of local legal system and business practices, established valuable local networks, and hold full eligibility to work full-time in the UK.
- Qualified as a practising solicitor in the UK, well-versed in UK laws and regulations, with solid experience in commercial law, intellectual property and anti-counterfeiting matters.
- Proficient in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, capable of independently handling legal documentation and routine legal affairs across different scenarios.
- Familiar with intellectual property protection and anti-counterfeiting procedures.
- Relevant experience in handling infringement and anti-counterfeiting cases is highly preferred.
- Strong logical thinking, outstanding communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a strong sense of responsibility.
