Responsible for developing and managing the company's compliance framework for e-cigarette products across the UK and European market. This role monitors evolving UK and European regulatory requirements, leads product certification activities, and ensures ongoing compliance throughout the product lifecycle. Working closely with internal stakeholders, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities, the Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Officer will mitigate regulatory risks, maintain compliance standards, and support the company's sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead regulatory approval, product notification, and certification activities for products entering the UK and European markets, ensuring timely market access.
  • Interpret UK and European regulations and enforcement trends, providing practical regulatory guidance to support product development and commercial decisions.
  • Assess regulatory feasibility and risks for new products, advising stakeholders on certification pathways, approval likelihood, and potential future regulatory changes.
  • Monitor legislative developments, regulatory consultations, and policy updates, translating regulatory intelligence into actionable business recommendations.
  • Develop and continuously improve internal regulatory processes, documentation, and compliance management systems.
  • Build strong relationships with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, external advisors, and internal stakeholders, supporting inspections, audits, and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Regulatory Affairs, Law, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Tobacco Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of regulatory affairs experience within e-cigarettes, nicotine products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and European regulatory frameworks, with proven experience managing product approvals and regulatory submissions.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess regulatory risks and provide strategic advice to product development and business teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with experience preparing regulatory documentation and engaging with external regulatory stakeholders.
  • Must be eligible to work full-time in the UK without visa sponsorship.
