We're hiring an Operations & Product Manager at HAYA. ยฃ40โ55k | Manchester (hybrid). Haya is modest activewear built for Muslim women. We exist because the gap was too big to ignore, women were layering men's tops just to feel covered at the gym. We're fixing that. We have 100+ SKUs, multiple suppliers, and a product pipeline that needs to run 12 months ahead. Right now, the founder is the system. This hire changes that.
Benefits:
- Huge career growth opportunity - you will be the first hire for the department and a team will be built around you as we grow.
- Real ownership - you'd be building out the system and seeing your work's real-life effect.
- The HAYA mission - if you're someone who shares our values, you can help make a real difference to our community.
- Flexible hours - hybrid between WFH & in office (ramadan, eid flexibility).
What you'll own:
- Supplier relationships AโZ. Reorder points, POs, freight, 3PL, invoices, all of it.
- A 12-month NPD calendar that we actually execute against.
- The sampling and approval process, from initial tech pack through to bulk sign-off.
- Critical path management across multiple concurrent styles and seasons.
- Working with suppliers on fit, construction, and quality, not just price and dates.
- Zero stockouts caused by poor planning.
- Product launches that happen on time.
- Commercial & financial understanding of margin & cashflow.
You're the right person if:
- You've worked in ops, supply chain, or NPD at an apparel or activewear brand, and you know what a critical path looks like, how sampling rounds work, and why lead times slip.
- You've owned supplier relationships, not just assisted someone who did.
- You bring solutions, not status updates.
- You find the problem before it becomes a crisis.
Who we're looking for:
- 3โ6 years in operations, supply chain, or NPD at an apparel or activewear brand, this is a hard requirement, not a preference.
- You've had real conversations with suppliers, not just passed emails along.
- You have a system for tracking critical paths, samples, and reorder points.
- You can hold a timeline and push back when things slip.
- Bonus: you connect with our mission as a brand built for Muslim women.
