Hay Farms is a family run business producing chickens for major UK retailers. We have over 30 years experience in this area of agriculture and we are looking for a new Trainee Assistant Manager for our farm in Oxfordshire.
We have an excellent team of managers, assistants and support staff but due to ongoing expansion driven by our customer relationships we are seeking new applicants to join us. Our most important asset is the staff who rear and nurture our broiler birds on the farms.
Our training programme is designed to take you from no knowledge to capable of running a farm within a year. You'll learn the skills of stockmanship, how to treat the birds, how to run the houses and how to manage your own site.
We provide a competitive salary + housing package.
If you are sat wondering whether you can do the job, then the answer is probably yes. We need staff members who recognise farming is a lifestyle and not a 9 to 5 job role, who can be flexible with their working hours and plan their time to mean the job gets done. This also means the job is flexible around you too. So, if you have the drive, ambition and ability to learn - we would love to hear from you.
