The Role: Broad, High-Quality Employment Law Work
As an Employment Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload spanning both contentious and non-contentious matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on Employment Tribunal claims, including discrimination, unfair dismissal, and whistleblowing
- Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements, contracts, and policies
- Providing HR advisory support to employer clients across multiple sectors
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex restructures, TUPE, and restrictive covenant matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to seminars, workshops, and client training sessions
- Supporting wider business development and networking initiatives

You will join a highly respected Surrey-based Employment team working closely with colleagues across the wider business services group. The team advises:

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
- 2–5 years’ PQE in Employment Law
- Experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Strong knowledge of:
- Employment Tribunal procedure
- Employment contracts and policies
- HR advisory work
- Settlement agreements
Desirable:
- Experience advising both employers and senior individuals
- Exposure to TUPE, restructures, or restrictive covenants
- Interest in business development and client-facing activity
