Are you looking to help shape the future of a new office, backed by an award-winning regional law firm? Our client is seeking a Family Solicitor for their newly opened Stoke-on-Trent office. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in building a team, influencing office culture, and supporting clients in a people-first, growth-focused environment.
The Opportunity
- Manage a diverse caseload of privately funded family law matters, including divorce, finances, and children work
- Advise high-net-worth and private clients on complex family law issues
- Attend court, mediations, and client meetings, preparing detailed notes as required
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and court applications
- Progress client work efficiently, keeping clients informed on progress, outcomes, and costs
- Achieve billing and time-recording targets, supporting the team's objectives
- Contribute to business development through networking and building local relationships
- Work collaboratively within a friendly, expert team
What We're Looking For
- Qualified solicitor with 1–5 years' PQE in family law
- Experience acting for privately funded and HNW clients
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent IT, organisation, and planning skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach to business development
- Leadership skills and experience with SOS case management system (desirable)
