We’re supporting a growing accountancy firm as they expand their office North East of Leeds. They are looking for an Accounting Assistant Manager to join their team and take ownership of a varied client portfolio.
What you’ll do:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate accounting services
- Prepare financial statements in line with accounting standards
- Produce management accounts and offer financial insights
- Support clients with bookkeeping systems including Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
- Identify areas to improve financial processes and make practical recommendations
- Mentor junior team members, offering day-to-day guidance and development
