Our client is looking to recruit a Corporate Senior Associate into its Manchester team, with a strong focus on M&A. This is a standout time to join. The business is going through an exciting period of transition and significant investment, which is driving a strong pipeline of new work and creating genuine opportunities for career development and progression as the team grows.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Advising on a broad range of corporate matters, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions
- Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion, working efficiently and commercially
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating key corporate documents and ancillary agreements
- Supporting due diligence exercises and coordinating input from other specialist teams where required
- Building trusted relationships with clients and delivering a high standard of client care
- Supporting the wider team with supervision and matter management as appropriate for level
- Contributing to business development and helping to grow client relationships over time
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified solicitor with around 6 years’ PQE (or equivalent) in corporate law
- Strong, hands-on M&A experience and confidence running transactions with appropriate support
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with strong attention to detail
- Commercial mindset and a practical approach to problem-solving
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Confident communicator who works well with colleagues and clients
