Our client is looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Paralegal into its Manchester team. The firm is going through an exciting period of transition and significant investment, creating a strong pipeline of new work and genuine opportunities to develop as the business grows. This is a great role for someone who enjoys fast-paced disputes work, strong client contact, and being part of a collaborative team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting fee earners on a broad range of commercial litigation matters
- Assisting with the day-to-day progression of files, helping to keep matters moving efficiently
- Drafting and preparing correspondence, court documents and supporting papers
- Organising and maintaining accurate, well-structured electronic files
- Assisting with disclosure exercises, document review and evidence collation
- Preparing bundles and coordinating deadlines and key dates
- Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, courts and other third parties as required
- Undertaking legal research and producing clear summaries
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a commercial litigation or dispute resolution environment is preferred
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Confident IT skills and comfort working with case management systems
- Professional, client-focused approach with good telephone manner
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
