A growing accountancy practice is looking for a versatile Accounts Senior to join the team. This is a varied, hands-on role working across a broad client base, from sole traders through to limited companies, supporting both accounts and tax compliance.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns for a portfolio of clients
  • Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
  • Preparing corporation tax computations and corporation tax returns
  • Preparing self assessment tax returns
  • Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc work as required

What we are looking for:

  • AAT qualified (or above), or qualified by experience (QBE)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice
  • Comfortable working across a varied workload and supporting different areas of the business
  • Strong attention to detail, good organisation, and the ability to manage deadlines
